I have been in the music business for over 30 years. I first started as a roadie for the legendary band Misty in Roots and their support band Black Enchanters. I also worked with local bands from Southall and Acton back in the early80s and 90’s, doing live shows and studio recordings in the Southall community, and recording studio in south Ealing and the Acton Priory centre, this was in the mid-’80s. I later became part owner of a heavyweight sound system called “Jah Creator”, playing sounds like the legendary Jah Shaka and more. We later created a record label under the same name (Jah Creator) where we produced some great tracks with some of the legends of reggae music, which included Max Romeo, Little Roy; Lincoln Sugar Minot, and Horace Andy, to name a few. Now my full-time profession is a music producer and sound engineering. I Am also the owner of a 32 track recording studio and record label called Alkamist, where I have released four singles from 2004 to 2008.and, have recently signed three artists to my record label. I have also recently finished an HND (higher national diploma) course in contextual studies, learning all aspects of the film industry from lighting, scriptwriting, storyboard, producing, directing, to making films, documentary’s music video’s, and editing using Adobe premiere pro, After effects and Davinci resolve software and much more.
